Job Title: Build Administrator Salary: £20,000 - £24,000 Location: East Peckham, Kent THE ROLE We’re a small company with a very exciting future. This role provides a great opportunity to combine working on-site with flexible desk-based working. You will be helping the Contractors Service Delivery Manager to organise and support a contract cabling team of 4 people, which will be tasked with extending our fibre optic network to a complete town or village. The role will be ideal for someone organised with previous experience in telecoms, who is looking for something a bit different, and an escape from your standard office environment! THE DAY JOB Project coordination To support the build team by administering the commercial arrangements with our suppliers. Monitoring and reporting key metrics and feeding these into the Deployment team Updating key reports and interacting with the Build Support team to provide progress reports Supporting the Build Director by providing input to regular reports To work with accuracy and speed to analyse and share information in an articulate, timely and simple manner Desire to learn new skills within planning processes, and subsequently adhere to and role model great process practices Maintain efficient communication with all teams relating to status of all works and requests Civils. Working with the project support team and civils contractor, you will help to organise blockage clearance and other groundworks. Route plans. Interpreting plans produced by planning team and circulating them to direct labour team and subcontractors. Keeping records and updating systems to share information including providing progress reports weekly. As-Built documentation. Collate evidence from the installation team to assist the Contractors Service Delivery Manager with the As-Built submission on completion of build. Health & Safety. Promoting safe working practices and making sure Health and Safety policy is always at the forefront of everything we do. WE'D LIKE TO SPEAK TO YOU IF... Demonstrable experience of working with/for telecommunications operators or service partners - Desirable but not essential Strong fit for our brand and organisational culture. Good working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Ms Project. WE'LL LOVE YOU IF...
