Overview Of Role The Kitchens at Rothamsted Enterprises are looking to expand our kitchen team by employing an Apprentice Chef. If you would like to become a chef then this is the best place to start. We will provide training, a paid salary, holiday pay and you will get a nationwide recognised qualification at the end of your one year course. The Apprentice Chef will undertake roles across all areas of the Kitchen and is responsible for the quality production of food in compliance with food preparation regulations. Ensuring dishes are produced of a consistently high standard for both our guests and staff minimising waste where possible. This role also involves stock rotation and control, excellent customer service communication skills and flexibility to cover all kitchen team roles as required by the business. You will be required to complete all course work required through the Apprenticeship Scheme, this will be within your working hours. Working hours are contracted at 37hrs per week working, 5 days out of 7 with some weekends Free on-site car parking Uniform provided Social clubs including an on-site gym and tennis courts About The Company Rothamsted Enterprises Limited (REL) was established in 2015 by its shareholders, Lawes Agricultural Trust, Rothamsted Research and BBSRC.
