We have expertise across a specific range of sectors and have established Business Units which deliver Apprenticeships in each of these sectors as sector specialists. Our team has a huge passion for learning that makes a difference, and not just training for training's sake.Our Business Units include Project Management, Leadership & Management, Early Years, Residential Childcare and Health & Social Care. Each provision has a Team Leader reporting into a Head of Apprenticeship Operations.Role PurposeThe role of a Team Lead is to provide day-to-day management and support to trainers within the Health & Social Care provision to deliver outstanding teaching and learning, drive Apprentice and employer engagement, with the measurable output of delivering key performance indicators in attendance, progression, and retention.Typical deliverablesThis list is not exhaustive, and you are expected to undertake any reasonable activity suited to your qualifications and experience.· Support an emergency caseload of up to 15 high-risk Apprentices.· Provide 1st Line Management to a team of up to 8 Trainers/Assessors· Hold monthly caseload reviews with assessors to monitor engagement and progression and action plan accordingly.· Respond to day-to-day queries from internal and external stakeholders.· Support and manage the cause for concern process with learners not engaging or progressing, working with employers to resolve where necessary.· Manage the Gateway and EPA process - track completions through to achievement.· Support Head of Operations with recruitment and training of new staff· Organise and deliver weekly team catch ups to review progress against team objectives and support Head of Operations to hold monthly meetings to review performance, share best practice and action plan where necessary.· Support the compliance process by checking learning records against regulatory requirements, setting, and monitoring corrective action when necessary.Knowledge/Experience/QualificationsMinimum of 2-years’ experience managing or quality assuring the delivery and assessment of Vocational QualificationsMinimum of 5 years’ experience in delivery or quality assurance of vocational qualificationsAssessment and/or teaching qualificationsGood IT skills – working level of knowledge of Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and other MIS and databases such as Onefile and SmartAssessorSkillsOutstanding organisational skillsHonesty, integrity, professionalism, and confidentialityExcellent interpersonal and communication skillsThe ability to work under pressure, be flexible and resilientExcellent networking and relationship-building skillsPassionate, enthusiastic and with the ambition and commitment to deliverTactful and able to deal with difficult situations sensitivelyExemplary written communication skillsThe ability to demonstrate effective self-management, lead and manage othersEstablished experience in delivering customer service to a broad range of clients while working in collaboration with a range of stakeholders, internal and externalUp to date sector and knowledge with a comprehensive understanding of compliance and quality assurance standards and the Education Inspection Framework• A curious and analytical approach to your work, with a passion to learn, develop and share your knowledge with otherMinimum requirements:Eligible to work in the UKSatisfactory employment referencesAcceptable Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) checkEnglish, Maths, and ICT skillsJob Types: Permanent/ Full timeSalary: £32,000.00 - £36,000.00Job Types: Permanent, Full-timeSalary: £32,000.00-£36,000.00 per yearBenefits:Work from homeSchedule:Monday to FridayApplication question(s):Please tell us how you demonstrate occupational competence for this role?What is your notice period?Will you require any aids or adaptations to support you in your work because you have a disability?
