Our staff have decades of experience in the delivery of Apprenticeships that meet the needs of outdoor centres, schools, adventurous activity and recreation providers and outdoor learning charities, social enterprises and voluntary organisations.Key to what we do are: consistent delivery of outstanding training; guidance, support and care for Apprentices across England; close liaison and good relationships with employers; and a keen sense of providing high quality service for our sector. The Apprenticeships Administrator role is at the heart of this. The successful candidate will be responsible for the administration associated with recruitment, start, induction and management of information for all our learners. A significant aspect of this is high quality communication with learners, employers and colleagues. This role requires careful attention to detail, well developed IT and communication skills, strong initiative and an absolute commitment to excellent customer service.The RoleGeneralReporting to the MIS and Compliance Manager.Manage own time and resources effectively to meet company and client needs.Administration of the recruitment process to support employers in their search for apprentices.Administration of induction paperwork and assist in the auditing and filing of digital apprenticeship records.Support for the administration associated with End Point Assessments.Build and maintain a sound knowledge of apprenticeship funding.Provide direct support to the Apprenticeship Managers to ensure audit compliance of our apprenticeship administration.SpecificMaintain Customer Relationship Management system for initial contact and active recruitment.Liaise with prospective clients and email initial contact information and vacancy form.Advertise vacancies and manage the process between apprentices and employers.Administer application and onboarding process; liaising with employer and tutor team.Arrange portal access for learners and employers.Create system logins for employers and apprentices.Certificate claims and distribution to apprentices.Accountable for the accuracy of all apprentice and employer records.Communicate effectively and proactively with learners and employers via phone and email.Support MIS and Compliance processes such as Apprenticeship Services accounts and funding administration.Skills and Occupational RequirementsCompetent in the use of Google Workspace, Microsoft Office applications, Adobe applications, Zoom, Teams and have experience of virtual learning environments and e-portfolios.Have appropriate professional home office for work and communication on Zoom, Teams, etc.A belief in the value of Further Education / Apprenticeship training.Knowledge and experience in Further Education / Apprenticeship training with a current understanding of the management of information needs of providers.Degree level education or occupational equivalent.Personable and professional, with experience in a customer facing role.Able to take ownership of own work and have the ability to quickly develop strong working relationships with stakeholders of all levels.A positive team player who is organised and self-motivated.Able to manage a variable workload and prioritise effectively.Have strong written and verbal communication skills.NotesPart time 0.6 FTE, permanent role, salary £25k pa pro rata. Hybrid working; online home-based with visits to our Head Office in Minehead. Our expectation is that hours are managed throughout the working week to meet the operational needs of the company and the personal needs of the post-holder.
