This role sits within small function in a larger finance team reporting into a Finance Manager offering progression. As the Assistant Accountant your responsibilities will include: Responsible for accounting of financial transactions and producing month-end reports Preparing journals Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliation's including reconciliation of revenue, fixed assets and utilities Support wider finance function and make sure all processes are fit for purpose, looking to make improvements if necessary Assist with providing data for ad hoc reports The successful candidate will have experience of working in a similar role and be studying towards a professional qualification such as ACCA/CIMA. You will be able to adapt to new systems, have strong experience using excel on a daily basis at an intermediate level and have excellent attention to detail..
