Autism Mentor Location: Multi-site, Milton Keynes Hours: 37.5 hours per week, 52 weeks per year Contract: Full Time, Permanent Flexible Working: We welcome applications from those seeking flexible or part time hours Salary: Up to £23,000 per annum (Subject to experience) Apprenticeships: Development opportunities are available through Apprenticeship standards Reporting To: Autism Specialist Mentor IN SHORT Working as part of the wider Student Development and Support Team to provide proactive, person centred support for Autistic students across all college provisions. The primary role, working alongside the existing team, will be to provide 1:1 tuition and pastoral support for students on the Autistic Spectrum. This role will also require close collaboration with curriculum teams to ensure needs are understood and met. There will also be opportunities to support the team in delivering training to curriculum staff and to engage in, and lead on, awareness raising events.
