More about the team you will be joining as a Battery Systems Verification Engineer: You will be joining the excellent and dedicated battery design team. This role is key for the delivery of the battery verification work on our next prototype aircraft involved in everything from requirements input to test method and results analysis on the battery design. My impact as a Battery Systems Verification Engineer: Your impact will be ensure that one of the most complex and difficult products on the aircraft is safe for pilot flight. This role is a unique and important piece in taking the battery system requirements, comparing that to the verification methods proposed by the design team and tying up the systems engineering work to make both of them connect and act as suitable evidence for piloted flight. We are looking for people that will have the following qualifications and experiences: Experience in rigorous, purposeful systems engineering Confident with taking part in FMEA's, PSSA assessments, design reviews and programme reviews Experience with datasets from electrical systems and ability to compare that to pre-defined success criteria Comfortable with defining and driving work forward Able to communicate effectively and promptly with stakeholders throughout the organisation and with external suppliers Confident and capable of holding your ground in robust engineering discussions Willingness to be wrong and make corrections as and when the data directs it Why work with us?
