Job descriptionClarivate is seeking to hire a Billing & Renewal Specialist. This position will report to the Manager, Billing & Renewals. The Billing & Renewal Specialist is responsible for the timely issuance of invoices and will hold responsibility for monthly invoicing and renewing of customers products. In this role you will support our US customers. About You – experience, education, skills, and accomplishments 3+ years of broad experience within accounting/billing environment, preferably for a software company or in a subscription billing environment. Proficient in Microsoft Office with experience in using Excel (e.g., VLOOKUP, Pivot tables, etc.) It would be great if you also had… Bachelor’s degree in related field Second European Language Previous experience in NetSuite. Multinational experience. Proven ability to manage accounting figures calculate post and financial records. Familiarity with finance and accounting operations. What will you be doing in this role? Validate new contracts, renewals and add on orders to ensure all contracts are process timely and accurately. Processing renewals – working with sales and legal departments to process documentation for renewal of customers Preparing, issuing and processing invoices. Checking client contracts/sales orders for invoicing details. Respond to billing questions both internal and external requests. Credit note management in line with company policy. Preparing quotes for annual renewals prior to invoicing. Preparing proforma invoices for customers where required. Collaboration with services/sales departments to obtain/validate information. Manage and follow up on all processing issues. Assist with ad hoc finance projects as required. Verify discrepancies by clients and resolve their billing issues. Support audit requirements as necessary. Ad-hoc reports and duties as required.
