About the role What you need to know: We are seeking a dynamic and motivated individual to transform international Client & Broker data (internal and external) into quality information to enable the business to make effective decisions. This role is required to generate valued information comparisons, trends over time, and benchmarking against our peers (share of wallet, ranking). The individual will use visuals to ‘tell the story’, deliver business insights to drive profitable growth and cost reductions for International (and Global Specialty) geographies, brokers and Products. This person will need to build relationships at a senior level to get top-down support to increase the adoption of CBE tools and reporting (Power BI, Sales Pipelines, Salesforce etc), improving efficiencies and promoting ‘one version of the truth’ Key responsibilities: To use broker share of wallet and ranking data to drive increased focus on geographies and/or products with high potential for growth Monthly broker reporting both internal & external. Quarterly business review processes and supporting sub regions with analysis. Build and maintain strong relationships with the carrier management teams at the strategic brokers, understanding their placement strategies, focus, priority areas and data systems What we’re looking for: Creation/Innovation/Adoption of Power BI dashboards with clear visualisations of broker and client performance across international geographies and products Responsible for the creation/innovation/adoption of the International Power BI Sales target Heatmap, highlighting RAG status by geography/products of the adequacy of quarterly NB target values versus budgets Develop Power BI roll-out and training plans with regional CBE & Product data champions, focusing on the Production dashboard, New Business submission dashboard, Sales target heatmap and the cross-selling Opportunity Finder Identify and fix data quality issues To provide data & analytical services to internal and/or external customers, meeting customer expectations, particularly in terms of quality and timeliness in line with departmental standards, procedures, and guidelines Client deep dive analysis to aid decision making/adjustments of portfolios Experience partnering with different lines of insurance & Client/Broker Engagement to deliver business requirements and training. Knowledge and experience of developing technology solutions, both in house and commercially available “off the shelf” solutions. Intermediate Microsoft excel skills, Intermediate Microsoft Office Suite Knowledge of Power BI an advantage Knowledge of Insurance industry an advantage The ability to plan, prioritise and organise work, effectively resolves conflict among priorities. A self-starter with excellent organizational and problem-solving skills and willingness to embrace and champion new ideas. Ability to ‘roll up sleeves’ investigate and implement at tactical level through effective teamwork, engagement and influencing. Excellent communications skills and the ability to facilitate complex discussions with senior leaders.
