HELP US KEEP THE WORLD MOVING Position: Business Development Director - Life Sciences division Location: Remote with 50% travel Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time) Closing date: 5th September 2023 We have an exciting opportunity for a Business Development Director to join DHL Supply Chain's Life Sciences division, with a focus on the Pharma/medical device sectors! Now, here's what we need from you: Extensive track record of winning in sales and a demonstrable ability to solve customer needs within a contract logistics/ 3PL business Previous experience targeting and winning business within the Medical Device/Pharma sector Strategic thinking which can interpret and predict customers needs. Ability to be a self-starter and to build pipeline of new business opportunities to achieve and exceed growth targets set for region. Experience with researching categories and target customers needs and matching them to solutions. Ability to prepare to win through all sales stages from targeting to pitching to closing the deal and implementing solutions. Interpersonal savvy to navigate and network internally and externally to build insight and relationships. Ability to re-win business and grow existing business through added value service solutions.
