Reporting to the Group Sales and Marketing Director, you will hold a pivotal role in supporting the Group Sales efforts to increase company profits through new logo, cross sell and upsell sales. You will need to have a solid track record of bidding and winning bids, with experience of bidding large opportunities. You will need to be able to demonstrate experience of developing and maintaining a sales pipeline with a win rate >25%.To be successful in this role you must have a track record of FM Services Sales in Commercial, Education and across other sectors. That’s how deliver value for our customers, and building systems that lead the wayAnd as a Business Development Director with Bellrock, you’ll do it by…Building external relationshipsIdentifying business opportunities through prospectingDirecting strategic marketingDeveloping proposals and presentationsWhat does it take?If you’re ready to be the energy that helps us build our business, share our success, and really own it as a Business Development Director you’ll need…Relationship management – hold excellent relationship development and management skills to build both internal and external relationships.Strategic planning – to develop and enact long-term growth strategies; take a high-level view of company goals and objectives to drive business growth.Operations enhancement – to enhance efficiency and collaboration between business divisions.Team coordination – to build and lead effective cross-functional teams.Communication skills – written and verbal communication are both vital to prepare proposals and present ideas to executives to enhance business performance.Writing winning bids – highly competent in solution design and bid writing to ensure customer requirements and solution benefits are clearly articulated throughout the proposalAbility to understand the strategic direction and goals of the business supporting growthMust have well developed capabilities at problem solving and crafting efficient processesWorking arrangementsWe embrace smarter working practices which offer our employees the opportunity to work their hours flexibly and remotely where their roles and business needs allow.
