Job description

Assisting with personal care, i.e. washing/bathing, dressing and use of toilet/commode.Moving/transferring clients as necessary.Maintaining nutritional needs, i.e. cooking, assisting with feeding and shopping if necessary.Light household duties to ensure that the client is cared for within safe, hygienic surroundings if that is acceptable to the client; otherwise to ensure that the working area for the Carer complies with Health and Safety Regulations.Helping to meet the emotional needs of the client and, if applicable, other family members/carers.Assisting with medications as prescribed by the GP and other regimes as set up by other health care professionals.Respecting the client’s wishes and privacy and need for confidentiality.Promotion and maintenance of independent living.Job Types: Full-time, ContractSalary: From £10.75 per hourBenefits:Employee mentoring programmeUK visa sponsorshipDay range:Every weekendMonday to FridayPhysical setting:Extra care housingLive-inResidential homeShift:10 hour shift12 hour shift8 hour shiftDay shiftNight shiftWork Location: In person
