Careers Advisor Temple Learning Academy, part of Red Kite Learning Trust Contract: Permanent, Term Time plus 2 additional weeks (including 5 training days) Hours: Full time, 37 hours per week, 8.00am – 4.20pm Monday to Friday with one day finishing at 3.50pm Actual salary: £26,717 - £28,373 Holidays: equivalent 12 weeks holiday For more information on our school: www.templelearningacademy.org Do you share our belief that all children should be supported to achieve their full potential? We are ideally looking for a candidate with relevant experience of offering career advice and guidance to join us as part of the team. A unique opportunity to be part of the of the exciting journey at Temple Learning Academy: an all-through school in the heart of its community. Being an all-through school means our students benefit from a seamless transition between year groups and phases; shared expertise and resources, and a curriculum that is sequenced from Early Years to Year 11. Our colleagues specialise in either Primary or Secondary phase practice and work for the vast majority of their time in their respective phases. Consequently, this post will base you almost always within the Secondary phase. Cross phase work has so many benefits and allows us to maximise the opportunities for our students so we encourage this collaboration as often as possible. No colleague is expected to work cross-phase without the full support of appropriate training and CPD. We are seeking an outstanding candidate to support our educational aims who has the vision, drive and interpersonal skills to motivate our students within the Secondary phase. For the right candidate, you will be joining a highly successful and supportive team and the post attracts an S01 salary. We are looking for someone who will have; Recent experience in the field of Careers Education Information Advice and Guidance (CEIAG), preferably in an educational establishment or similar environment aiding young people. A commitment to supporting young people to make informed decisions about their future careers, course or pathways to meet their individual needs. An inclusive purpose and a young person-centred approach; every students future is important. Excellent People skills to build rapport, guide, coach, inspire, motivate and support others. An excellent team player with strong communication skills. An inquisitive nature to learn all about career options for students post 16 and share knowledge.
