Centrica Energy Storage Offshore Engineering Graduate We’re building the workforce of the future – and your future starts with us. Salary: Year 1 - £36k, Year 2 - £38k, Year 3 - £40k £3k starting bonus For your time spent offshore - £17k Offshore Allowance (per annum) Start date: 2nd October 2023 Hull & Offshore Overview Are you ready to build an exciting and fulfilling career in Engineering? We are delighted to be offering our 2023 Offshore Engineering Graduate Programme, that will truly accelerate your development into a well-rounded, engineering professional! The programme is for 3 years and will be filled with interesting and high-profile assignments. You will be involved in the operation, planning and management, and optimising performance of our assets. You will get first-hand experience in technical engineering, projects, operations, and we will introduce you to real life process engineering and process safety. You can look forward to a mix of on-the-job learning, training modules and project work. Year 1 – You will be office-based working with the Operations and Maintenance Support team. You will also complete offshore training, visit our assets and start additional training and qualifications (please see below). Year 2 – You will complete 10 trips offshore, spending 2 weeks offshore with a further 3-week rest period at home (This is your down time). The first 6 months will follow the role of an Operations Team Leader, the remaining 6 months will focus on the role of a Maintenance Supervisor and Planner. Year 3 – You will spend more time offshore, and we will provide you the opportunity to follow a specific role shadowing an Asset based senior manager. By the end of the 3-year programme, you will have achieved following; Practical offshore experience – including the completion of your BOSIET/ MIST Training enabling you go offshore for 4 years IOSH Managing Safety certificate Completion of our internal Major Accident Hazards Awareness course Stage 3 OPITO Certificate in Petroleum Processing Technology, accredited by City & Guilds APM Project Fundamentals certificate Root Cause Analysis certificate ‘Aspire to Manager’ programme – A 8-week line manager training course MOME training – Management of major offshore emergencies Life at Centrica – We’re committed to help solve customers’ needs, making lives simpler and more affordable, we are making big changes to create a cleaner and greener future, by cutting both customer and our own emissions on a path to net zero, we all play a part in making this happen!
