From manufacturing to marketing, (D)edication, (E)njoyment, (C)ourage, (H)onesty, (R)elationships and (A)mbition are at the heart of our everyday operations and the way we do business The Opportunity To lead, manage and motivate a successful team of field based Territory Sales Managers in the UK, selling a range of market leading pharmaceutical and nutrition products Main Responsibilities So, what will you be doing? This role has a broad and varied remit and the successful candidate will have responsibility for duties including: Ensure profitable growth and deliver sales plan within the region through effective management of the sales team and delivery of Key Performance Indicators, in line with business strategy and the company’s overall commercial objectives Implement Field Force Effectiveness strategies and regional sales activities to maximize sales revenue in line with targets and objectives, optimizing margin, aligned with Sales, Marketing & Technical plans Effectively lead, coach and manage direct reports, Territory Sales Managers, at Regional Meetings, Quarterly Business Reviews, and regular Field Visits (minimum 2 days per TSM per month) to support delivery and implementation of campaigns, business initiatives and selling skills aligned with a high performing sales team culture (HPT) Identify and support team training needs and personal development objectives aligned with Talent Review and Performance Development Review frameworks Maximise team contact, coverage and reach with customers through effective business planning strategies, targeting and customer segmentation strategies Analyse sales reports using available tools to benchmark performance and drive sales activities in collaboration with sales management to achieve agreed sales targets and commercial objectives Take responsibility for effective tender activation in your region in line with corporate updates Effectively manage internal relationships across the business, including sales management, key account management, technical and marketing functions to ensure good communication of sales strategy and tactics within each therapy area Monitor and control costs and expenditure within your areas of budgetary responsibility Maintain and support the CRM (SalesForce) aligned with Sales, Marketing & Technical plans, in order to optimise internal and external resource and cross-functional communication Manage and effectively coach the team to deliver Key Performance Indicators, and work collaboratively with all customer groups to ensure business solutions are delivered that meet and exceed customers’ expectations Ensure personal adherence to all business processes and protocols, health and safety requirements and all requirements relating to care of equipment provided; including Company Car, IT equipment, mobile phone, and any other property that you are issued for business & personal use. We’re particularly keen to hear from those who have/are: High level of competency with technology (PowerPoint, Excel, Word) and excellent presentation skills, knowledge of Salesforce (CRM) desirable Strong communication and interpersonal skills with aptitude in building relationships with professionals of all levels Excellent organisational skills and efficient working style, adapt and re-calibrate in fast-paced business environment Self-motivated and ability to work under own initiative and team player Previous sales management team/leadership experience essential Proven experience as a strategic sales manager with coaching, mentoring, motivational and problem solving skills Commercial experience and providing solutions based on customer needs Knowledge of Animal Health industry desirable The CAP Business Manager may be required to undertake additional duties in line with business needs at the discretion of the National Sales Manager This may involve out of region activities to include (but not exclusive to) working in alternative sites or territories, attending company meetings and congresses and managing remote sales and/or marketing projects.
