Job description
The Construction Supervisor will be responsible for the Management of Projects to ensure they run to agreed timescales as efficiently as possible whilst controlling subcontractors, Materials, and any on site issues. The supervisors will be responsible for attending Pre-Start meetings, Progress Meetings, and project handovers.Supervisors have the overall responsibility for the safe working and health and safety on site ensuring that operatives are adhering to H&S requirements including carrying out Quality of Work, Health and Safety & Behavioural Audits.The supervisor will assist the Project Manager with planning works and assist in controlling the budgets of projects whilst working in conjunction with Support Teams, Finance, Business Development and Shared Services Teams.Role Responsibilities:Monitor site, agree workload with site foreman on a daily/weekly basis and ensure projects are within agreed timescalesManage Operatives and Subcontractors (Carrying Out Qow & H&S Audits)Ensure site installations are carried out to standard expected by ENVEVO/Client/relevant regulationsEnsure all quality audits and corrective actions are closed out on timeLiaise with Client personnel and local authorities; attend all relevant meetingsAgree shutdown date with Client, Local Authority and Site Manager; organise labour requirements and superviseSurvey and programme jobs on a weekly basis and populate planner with addressesComplete BOQ’s process accurately and cascade to teamCarry out standby duties to supervise faults team, collate jobs on faults log and pass to adminAttend weekly/monthly progress meetings with Project ManagerAssist Project Manager on achieving higher or lower KPIsManage resources to ensure maximum productivity is achieved in line with forecastSign off completed projects for qualityHighlight any variations required on projects to Project ManagerCreate Method Statements and Generic Risk Assessments prior to all projects commencingReporting of accidents, hazards and near missesPass completed Quality of Work audits to Support Assistant for updatingRegular one to one meetings; weekly and monthly with direct reportsJob Types: Full-time, PermanentSalary: £40,000.00-£48,000.00 per yearBenefits:Company carCompany pensionFree or subsidised travelPrivate medical insuranceSick paySchedule:8 hour shiftDay shiftHolidaysMonday to FridayOvertimeSupplemental pay types:Performance bonusApplication question(s):Do you have any DNO/IDNO network Experience?Experience:Supervising: 1 year (required)Language:English (required)Licence/Certification:Driving Licence (required)SMSTS (required)SSSTS (required)Street Works Card (required)First Aid Certification (required)Work authorisation:United Kingdom (required)Willingness to travel:75% (required)Work Location: On the roadJobs Advertisement
