About Elfin MarketWe’re a young fintech start-up which aims to disrupt the credit card market in the UK. We’re offering flexible credit akin to a credit card but with lower APRs and no hidden fees. We launched our platform four years ago and our customer base has been growing rapidly since then. We’re currently a team of twelve, including our two co-founders, and we’re looking for a motivated and ambitious customer support agent to join us in our exciting journey.Your roleYou will be the first point of contact for existing and prospective customers. You will be responding to their requests via email and social media, whilst showing professionalism and empathy, to ensure each customer is valued.You will be working in close collaboration with our customer support manager and compliance manager as well as with the rest of our team.You will be joining us at an exciting time! We are growing quickly and have already established outstanding reviews for our customer service and therefore want to maintain these high standards whilst we expand.The ideal candidateWe’re looking for someone with the following profile:· Great at problem solving and strong attention to detail· Have some experience in a customer facing role· Exceptional communication skills, both oral and written, with flawless written English· Exceptional human and social skills. Your role may get stressful and frustrating fromtime to time and we’re looking for someone who will keep a positive and enthusiasticapproach.· Extreme motivation : as one of our early hires, we’re looking for someone who will behighly motivated and who will get things done· Open-mindedness : we love discussing ideas and exchanging constructive criticism,both on the day-to-day and when making important decisions.
