Business Unit: Records Management Location: NE37 3HR (Washington) Contract Type: Permanent - Full Time Hours: 42.5 Salary: £23,400 If you've got experience in driver/warehouse work, fantastic, we could use someone that can hit the ground running. However, experience isn't required. So long as you're a team player, able to handle a relatively physical role whist being reliable and organised, you'll easily get up to speed. This is a rapidly growing business with opportunities for career development and would suit someone looking to establish a career in a large company. RESPONSIBILITIES Working on a Restore contracts making scheduled deliveries Working in the warehouse when not on deliveries To deliver and collect files, boxes, tapes and other forms of data to and from clients Carry out daily vehicle checks, reporting any defects to the Manager/Supervisor Must keep accurate records throughout the working day, ensuring all relevant paperwork is completed and submitted as part of the daily debrief process Ensure complete track and traceability of all items collected-delivered (following Restore processes) ABOUT YOU Driving experience with 3.5ton vans Customer service or warehouse experience could be useful, but not needed Adaptable, willing to work and try new things Full driving license required with no more than 3 points HGV license would be advantageous but not essential No vehicle accidents within the last 3 years Able to service up to 30 customers daily within the Northeast area We store and manage over 22 million items including archive boxes of document files, film and computer tape across a variety of secure storage facilities nationwide. Including cold war Air Force shelters for some of our heritage pieces we store on behalf of the leading museums. Our customers depend on us to manage their historical archives, and our team is proud to support them with their document management needs.
