The role An exciting opportunity has arisen to recruit an organised, confident and forward thinking Environmental and Sustainability Advisor to join our Sustainability and Communications Team. Reporting to the Chief Sustainability and Communications Officer, you will be responsible for delivering a structured coordinated and proactive environmental, sustainability and carbon reduction agenda and ensure that all environmental obligations and responsibilities are met. Who we are looking for The successful candidate will be closely involved in exciting projects such as delivery of the Airport Net Zero Carbon 2035 Strategy, CSR Strategy, EMS and Masterplan, together with our input to national, regional and local policy. The role includes the overseeing of the noise complaints service and our environmental monitoring regime and supervising our annual intern student. You will be a logical thinker with the ability to work independently and develop new ideas, but also be able to succeed within a fast-moving operational business. As well as this you will be comfortable with data, analysis and scientific information. You will be a confident and articulate communicator, who is capable of delivering lucid communications effectively, as well as demonstrate the capability to inspire the commitment of our stakeholders and the general public. The successful applicant should also demonstrate flexibility and will be able to take hold of a project or situation and deliver the required outcomes. You will be an experienced environmental professional and you will have achieved a degree / post graduate or equivalent qualification in an environmental or related subject. In addition to this you will be eligible for membership of a relevant professional body. Applicants should hold a valid driving licence. Why come onboard?
