The closing date for this role is Sunday 24th September 2023 What role you will play in our team Safely carry out maintenance of instrumentation and associated process control equipment as used at the Fife Ethylene Plant. What you will do Safety, health and environment Positive and responsible attitude to SHE at all times Demonstrate awareness of personal safety and safety of others Demonstrate ownership, follow-up and completion of issues raised Teamwork Reliable, dependable member of the team Supportive of colleagues: flexible towards progressing others' jobs Share knowledge and helps others to learn and develop Support and actively contributes to specific team goals About you You have professional experience in this position in a similar industry. Practical knowledge of Permit to Work systems, Lock out Tag out procedures, safety procedures, and the use of maintenance procedures and routines. Practical knowledge and experience of identifying faults in and repairing instrumentation, safety shutdown systems, DCS control systems, fire and gas detection systems and PLC’s. Experience of performing planned preventative maintenance checks on instrumentation. Ability to work alone and within a team to a high standard. Good communication skills.
