Salary range : £25,742 - £28,759 FTE : 1.0 (35 hours/week) Term : Open ended The Centre for Continuous Manufacturing and Advanced Crystallisation (CMAC) is a world-class centre of excellence for advanced crystallisation and pharmaceutical manufacturing research, training and translation. Working in partnership with industry, CMAC’s goal is to transform the development and manufacture of medicines through the development and exploitation of digital design and advanced manufacturing technologies. Our portfolio of activity is focussed on four key pillars to deliver: high quality manufacturing research; the workforce of the future through skills development and training; effective translation of research into industry and, to continue to develop our world leading facilities and Lab of the Future infrastructure. CMAC’s extensive research portfolio includes the flagship EPSRC Future Manufacturing Research Hub, led by the University of Strathclyde involving collaborations with spokes at leading UK academic institutions (Bath, Cambridge, Imperial College, Leeds, Loughborough, Sheffield). The Hub and other projects also bring a network of links with international centres in the US, Europe and Far East. A recent major addition to the funded research portfolio is the Made Smarter Innovation – Digital Medicines Manufacturing Research Centre (DM2) that will focus on accelerating the adoption of industrial digital technologies (IDTs) in medicines development and manufacturing. Through the University of Strathclyde, CMAC is also a strategic research partner for the Centre for Process Innovation’s (CPI) recently established Medicines Manufacturing Innovation Centre (MMIC) creating further mechanisms to deliver impact from our research. CMAC are now seeking to grow our team and applications are invited for a highly motivated, enthusiastic Finance & Costing Administrator to support the financial management of CMAC’s growing research and enterprise portfolios. The successful candidate will report directly to the CMAC Finance & Funding Manager whilst supporting the CMAC Executive and Management & Support teams in the financial monitoring of CMAC’s portfolio.
