Senior Finance Analyst Function: Finance Location: Edinburgh Salary: circa £44,000 - £50,000 base depending on experience, plus full benefits listed below. About the role We have an excellent opportunity for a fully qualified accountant to join our Financial Reporting team in our head office in Edinburgh. The role offers a real step-change for us in the UK, helping add value by way of review, challenge and financial control while acting as a key point of contact for colleagues in our shared service centre in Krakow. Working within Financial Reporting you will mainly be responsible for the UK local statutory accounts, month-end close activities, and audit/control compliance. There will also be scope to undertake review of management reporting entity packs and other ad hoc tasks as part of month-end activities. To achieve this, you will be a key coordination point for the shared service centre based in Krakow, and you will also business partner our internal commercial teams and key stakeholders as well as the external auditors. After recently implementing a new ERP system this is an exciting period of change across the finance function, and you will be joining a hard working team in a fast-paced environment. As this role is office based, please note we currently operate a hybrid working framework that allows us to capture the benefits of both working in the office and at home. For permanent roles, we work a minimum of 3 days in the office, a Tuesday and Thursday are for all, with the third day being defined by the colleague. Who we’re looking for? A Qualified Accountant with previous experience in financial reporting, particularly statutory accounts. Experience within FMCG or a large organisation would be preferable. If you: Have experience of IFRS or UK GAAP/FRS 101 accounting standards. Have excellent excel skills. Are an effective communicator, able to develop relationships and work with a wide range of stakeholders. Have excellent analytical skills with an enquiring mindset Are motivated by continuous improvement and challenging the status quo. Then this could be the role for you! The Good Stuff!
