Electrical Test and Inspection Engineer - Portadown Up to £41,700 earnings, plus company vehicle and equipment We are expanding our work force and looking for electricians with the ability to carry out periodic electrical inspections on a wide variety of projects on all different types of commercial and some domestic premises. The role of Electrical Test and Inspection Engineer will involve; Carrying out Inspecting & Testing on customer’s electrical installations (EICR’s) including Emergency Lighting Testing, Fire Alarm Inspections, Mains Analysis, Thermal Imaging and small remedial repairs as required. Completing all relevant reports and certification associated with your inspection & testing on our cloud-based certification software. Ensuring all reports and certification are completed and summited on time. In return for your commitment and expertise, you will get: A base salary of £35,360 - £37,440 with average earnings of circa £41,700 (base salary plus bonus, overtime/weekends, and paid travel time) Realistic earning potential excluding overtime on the weekends circa £39,300 Our bonus is uncapped 31 days holiday allowance (including statutory bank holidays) Pension A fully maintained company vehicle (available for private use as well) Fuel card provided We cover all parking fees and work related expenses Fully maintained vehicle We provide Laptop, PDA, testing equipment and uniform phs Perks (Partnership with Reward Gateway) phs Shop (Discount on household consumables) Discounts with retailers including Vodaphone. Ongoing career development opportunities A 24 hour wellbeing helpline The ideal candidate for an Electrical Test and Inspection Engineer at phs will have: The flexibility to work 40 hours per week, including evening/ twilight shifts to support our customers’ requirements. A full UK Driving Licence, with 6 points or less. NVQ level 3 or City & Guilds 2360/2330 part 1 & 2 qualification City & Guilds 18th Edition qualification City & Guilds 2391/2394 & 2395 A good level of IT literacy. Experience working in an electrical testing environment An understanding of UK Health and Safety Regulations within the workplace. The successful candidate will need to meet the requirements of an enhanced DBS check.
