Job Description Job Title: Team Member Support Business: Tata Steel Packaging Location: Trostre, Llanelli (SA14) Salary: £20,738 + shift allowance (after the completion of training) of 27.5% or 30% dependent on department + Benefits - £26,440 - £26,959 total salary. Our business, Tata Steel Packaging, are currently looking to recruit Team Member Support to support their manufacturing hub based at Trostre, Llanelli. As one of Europe’s leading suppliers of high quality packaging steels, we work closely with our business partners to increase value along the entire supply chain. We do this by developing innovative materials, applications and processing technologies, with a consistent focus on customer benefit The Role The successful candidates would be expected to operate multi-million pound process lines, participate in all cell team activities contributing to the team achieving all safety, quality and operational targets set by the business. You will be required to contribute to and participate in the manufacturing performance improvement programme. Responsibilities of this role will include, but are not limited to: Operating high speed process lines Carrying out quality inspection work with use of automated and visual processes Locating and moving material by use of crane and/or forklift truck Basic maintenance activities Basic IT skills required to ensure activities are captured in local recording programmes The Candidate We are looking for candidates who have well-developed team-working and communication skills, ability to problem solve and has the ability to demonstrate a high level of drive and enthusiasm. You will ideally be qualified or working towards an NVQ Level 3 qualification, passport to safety and/or IOSH Managing Safety qualification. You will be expected to have experience of working within a factory, warehouse or manufacturing type environment. The Benefits Tata Steel UK offers their employees significant benefits packages.
