Job description

RoleInstalling and subsequent removal of technical equipment in performance venues.Welcoming artists, assisting with their technical rehearsals, rigging specials and programming where required.Assisting in daily turnarounds between shows.Operating shows as required.Keeping full record of all information pertaining to requirements for shows, including turnaround notes, cue sheets and any other paperwork required.Ensuring that all backstage facilities and equipment are maintained to the highest standard.Ensuring health and safety standards are adhered to by artists and report any issues to management.Person SpecificationExperience of working as a technician in either a professional or academic environment.Good knowledge of theatrical technology including sound and programming of lighting desks.Excellent problem solving skillsStaff BenefitsFree entry to shows at Underbelly venues (subject to availability)Job Type: Temporary contractContract length: 1 monthSalary: £11.50 per hourBenefits:Company pensionWork Location: In personApplication deadline: 27/07/2023Reference ID: Hoot GTExpected start date: 02/08/2023
