The role will give you significant exposure to the senior leadership of Mazars – at Global and regional level and across the 90+ firms within the network. You will be part of the Global Quality & Risk Management team – a multi-location team primarily located in the UK, France, and the Netherlands plus other regional locations. About the team Our Business Services team is a collective of creative, strategic, forward-thinking business enablers. Together the People & Culture, Marketing & Communications, IT, Operations, Finance and Quality & Risk Management teams make it their mission to ensure Mazars has the right tools, technology, strategies, and services in place to deliver exceptional client service and future-proof our growing business. About the role Assess and determine the globally prescribed quality objectives, risks and controls considering inputs from various sources like internal inspections, external regulatory inspections, themes from internal monitoring activities, surveys, etc. Development and maintenance of technical guidance to assist member firms on System of Quality Management topics. Development of dashboards and tracking progress of member firms on key milestones. Preparation of System of Quality Management materials such as presentations and pre-reads for Board and committee meetings. Support in updating and maintaining System of Quality Management intellectual resources. Support member firms with external System of Quality Management regulatory inspections and draft responses where needed. Engagement with Internal Audit team and Internal Quality Monitoring teams on testing of group controls. Support the project to onboard and oversee the use of the IT solution that records the ISQM1 compliance What are we looking for? Knowledge of International Standard on Quality Management (ISQM) 1 and an understanding of its requirements Knowledge of governance structures and control environments - risk mindset and ability to identify gaps in the current control structures and assist the team in the design and implementation of new global controls. International mindset - able to engage and collaborate with stakeholders across the international network, with strong networking capabilities and good communication skills. Innovative thinking - with strong problem-solving skills and an interest in becoming a technical expert on quality management and risk assessment techniques.
