Careers and Employability Location: Egham Salary: £58,155 to £67,048 per annum - including London Allowance This is the expected starting salary for this post however appointment at a higher point may be made for candidates who demonstrate exceptional skills and experience relevant to the role. Post Type: Full Time Closing Date: 23.59 hours BST on Sunday 24 September 2023 Reference: 0623-266-R Full-Time, Permanent Applications are invited for the post of Head of Careers Department, in the Directorate of Education and Innovation. This full-time post provides an exciting opportunity to lead a team of careers professional services staff and play a pivotal role in ensuring a consistent and joined-up approach to career support and development of Royal Holloway students. The post holder will manage teams covering Careers Consultancy, Employer Engagement & Events, Placements and Volunteering. They will be committed to continual professional development, remaining abreast of relevant developments in the sector, through research and attendance at conferences and training events as appropriate, and sharing this knowledge with colleagues. The Head of careers will work with the Director for Education and relevant Pro Vice-Chancellors/Assistant Pro Vice Chancellors, senior management across the University and collaborative partners in ensuring excellent student graduate outcomes.
