GREAT YARMOUTH BOROUGH COUNCILHOUSING SERVICESHOUSING OPTIONS ADVISOR – BAND 61 x Full Time Post (Fixed term 2 years)Are you looking for a challenging, busy and rewarding role where you can make a real difference to people’s lives? If so, Great Yarmouth Borough Council is looking for an advisor to work within the Housing Options Team due to an increased demand in homeless pesentations.As an Advisor you will deliver high quality housing advice to customers and will manage an active case load of housing applicants. You will provide solutions to those at risk of homelessness or who are homeless to address their housing issues.The role has a strong preventative approach as the team works with customers to identify long term sustainable housing solutions for customers across the affordable and private rented sectors.This is an exciting time to join the team with the introduction of new IT databases and allocation policy, along with many other new initiatives such as the Great Yarmouth Homeless Alliance, the Councils commitment to the No Homeless in Norfolk Strategy and the Borough’s Rough Sleeping initiatives.If you feel you have the personal qualities and attributes we are looking for, we look forward to reading your application.
