HR Business Partner - 4 Month FTC Remote – travel once a week to our dental practices across the UK Job Purpose: To lead the HR People workstream for a strategic project involving the divestment (sale) of multiple sites. You will be responsible for providing guidance on TUPE and the ongoing engagement of all Practice Managers during the sale process. Accountabilities & Activities: Lead the TUPE consultation People workstream – you will be the key point of contact and active member of the broader project People Working Group. Maintain relationships and communication with dedicated Area Managers and Operational leads: own the process for information sharing with managers, operational Area Managers and Operational leads; Provide updates, communications, materials & resources, feedback, risks & issues. Work with operational Area Managers to define self-employed engagement and approach. Lead cross-functional working group with dedicated Area Managers (and HR Delivery Partners as needed) Own HR resource planning with broader HR team Own tracking and reporting of consultation process & progress. Lead the approach to support and upskill practice managers at sales sites. Leading collective consultations and announcements where appropriate & needed. Provide robust weekly updates to relevant Steering committees and signposts actions, risks, decision points etc. Collaborate with broader People team for aligned and synced updates. Experience Required: Experience of leading a TUPE process and managing HR strategic projects to high quality and within tight timeframes. Generalist HR experience gained within a relevant market and/or industry – exposure to a Healthcare/Retail/Hospitality/Consumer led environment would be hugely beneficial. Experience in working in large multisite organisations. Strong project management experience to maximise success and delivery of initiatives, flexing approach to the deliverable. Must have worked in a senior HR role within a corporate environment. Successful record of influencing, managing, and delivering change in a complex business environment including consulting with teams through mergers and acquisitions, TUPE transfers, closures and divestments. Experience of working in a business partner culture, working closely with business leaders to achieve objectives by challenging and positively disrupting the status quo. Evidence of a collaborative approach to developing solutions. Strong interpersonal skills, highly engaging communicator, able to flex personal style. Strategic and commercial understanding and the ability to develop and deliver a people plan to drive the business forwards. Able to coach managers appropriately and act as sounding board for senior management.
