This role will provide a comprehensive administrative support function to the Human Resources Department. Ensuring that tasks are completed in a timely and efficient manner, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality at all times.Key responsibilitiesAssist in the updating of all HR data systemsMonitoring shared HR email and allocate emails to relevant personnelTo assist in the recruitment process, preparing and placing adverts, preparing contracts and ensuring all relevant documents are prepared, issued to new starters etc.To manage the induction process ensuring that all new starters have provided all the relevant documentation and have received all specified training.To provide support in the management of annual appraisals, logging completions and recording of relevant information.Co-ordinate the return to work process, ensuring relevant documentation has been provided and recordedAssist in the logging and recording of Fit Notes ensuring that up to date Fit Notes are received by relevant employeesCo-ordinate the administration of leavers, issuing of relevant letters, recording on trackers and arranging leavers medicals and leavers discussionsAssisting in the organisation of Occupational Health Appointments and administration of reportsCo-ordination of company long service and attendance reward programsCo-ordinate the administration of Manpower Requests, ensuring that all documentation has been provided prior to authorisationAct as minute taker in relevant meetingsWorking hours - 39 hours per weekMonday to Thursday 7.45am to 4.30pm and Friday 7.45am to 2.10pmWhat are we looking for?Competent in the use of all Microsoft Office packagesExperience of working in a fast paced administrative support functionAble to work on own initiative, prioritise own workload and work to dead linesEnsure work is accurate at all timesAble to work in a confidential environmentExperience or working with and contributing to the success of a teamReliable and flexible, able to adjust to changing work loadWhat can we offer you?26 days annual leave and an additional 8 Bank HolidaysLife cover equivalent to 4 times annual salaryPrivate Health CareCycle to work schemeCar lease schemeCompany Sick PaySports and Social ClubCash DrawJob Types: Full-time, PermanentSalary: £21,873.00-£24,303.12 per yearBenefits:Bereavement leaveCanteenCycle to work schemeEnhanced maternity leaveEnhanced paternity leaveFree parkingLife insurancePrivate medical insuranceSick paySchedule:Monday to FridaySupplemental pay types:Performance bonusAbility to commute/relocate:Sunderland: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)Experience:Human resources: 1 year (preferred)Licence/Certification:CIPD (preferred)Work Location: In person
