Join Our Team as an Import/Export Operator in Nuneaton!Are you ready for an exciting opportunity to join our Land team in Nuneaton? We have recently won some new business, and as a result, we are seeking an Import/Export Operator to support our Linehaul, Import, and Export departments. If you have a passion for learning new skills and providing excellent customer service, then this role might be perfect for you!Location: NuneatonShifts : Rotating shift pattern 06:00 - 14:00 Week 1 14:00 - 22:00 week 2, Monday - FridaySalary: £24k-£26k dependent on experienceWhat will you be doing?As an Import/Export Operator, your role will involve:Taking full control of planning export linehaul trailers to IE and Europe.Preparing customs documentation in accordance with UK HMRC regulations for export trailers departing the UK.Monitoring premium and overnight shipments.Working with hauliers to book export linehaul trailers for direct shipments.Collaborating with other departments to ensure timely delivery of goods.Partnering with stakeholders to overcome issues with deliveries and collections.Monitoring and actioning generic email boxes, ensuring prompt responses.Interacting with both internal and external clients to gather booking information for freight delivery in the UK.Utilising in-house operating systems to produce shipping documentation.Managing job file invoicing and cost control administration.Investigating and promptly responding to all internal queries and complaints.Working with and monitoring terminal inventories daily.About YouTo excel in this role, we are looking for someone who possesses:Demonstrable experience in delivering excellent customer service.Clear and concise communication skills.Ability to develop and maintain positive working relationships across all levelsEffective multitasking abilities with excellent attention to detail.Knowledge of customs formalities (highly desirable).Experience within the Land freight industry (highly desirable).What We OfferWhen you join our team, you can expect:Full training and continued professional development for all compliance and regulatory requirements.20 days of holiday (increasing by 1 day per year up to a maximum of 25 days) plus a day off for your birthday.A pension scheme with up to 6% matched employer contributions.Career paths and development opportunities.Next StepsIf this opportunity excites you, don't hesitate to apply by following the links and attaching your CV as soon as possible.
