Then this could be the role for you! We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to join the Registry Degree Apprenticeships Team and be part of a team that manages the Degree Apprenticeship Student Record, and delivers the University’s External Statutory Student Return. You will have an excellent attention to detail and understand the importance of data accuracy, enabling a consistent and methodical approach to the compilation and maintenance of large datasets extracted from the Student Record System. You will have the ability to work consistently under pressure, prioritise your own work, work independently, and adhere to deadlines set. As part of a wider Student Returns and Data Management Team, you will be providing the essential delivery of our service in meeting the University’s statutory external obligations. Your primary focus will be on production, validation, and submission of data to the Education and Skills Funding Agency (ESFA). This data return requires a gold standard of data quality and integrity; you will need to be able to identify inconsistencies in large datasets, and action solutions to these data inaccuracies. You will be given the opportunity work with data and management information that influences internal strategic decisions. These data can directly affect the University’s League Table positions and other national performance indicators. The successful candidate will have a good honours degree, or equivalent, in a subject requiring numeracy. You will work cooperatively and flexibly with staff across all teams within the Academic Registry to proactively contribute to continuous improvement activities, and to deliver an excellent service. You will liaise with academic members of staff at the University, and colleagues working a wide range of professional services forming strong working relationships.
