As a Junior Data Analyst Apprentice, you will embark on a comprehensive learning journey under the guidance of experienced data professionals. Throughout the apprenticeship program, you will be exposed to a wide range of data analysis techniques and tools, enabling you to develop essential skills in data manipulation, interpretation, and visualization. In this role, you’ll work towards your Level 3 Junior Data Analyst Apprenticeship, delivered by our expert training team at Baltic Apprenticeships. A Typical Day in the Job: Data Collection: Collaborate with various teams to gather data including apprentice attendance, retention, engagement…etc from multiple sources, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and relevance. Data Analysis: Utilise statistical techniques, data mining methods, and data visualisation tools to analyse datasets and identify patterns, trends, and correlations in Apprenticeship data. Report Generation: Create clear and concise reports summarising data analysis results, highlighting key findings, and providing actionable recommendations. Present information in a visually appealing and easy-to-understand format using charts, graphs, and dashboards. Data Quality Assurance: Verify data accuracy, integrity, and consistency by conducting data cleansing, validation, and quality checks. Data Visualization: Develop interactive visualizations and dashboards using tools like; Power BI, or Excel to present complex data in a user-friendly manner. Collaborative Problem-Solving: Collaborate with cross-functional teams within the College, to identify data-related challenges, propose solutions, and support business process improvements. Full training and support will be provided by your workplace mentor and from the Baltic team. Salary, Hours & Benefits: Monday – Friday 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM National Minimum Wage 28 days holiday plus bank hols Free Gym Membership Great Manchester Pension Scheme Desired Qualities, Skills and Knowledge: Grade 4/C in Maths & English or Functional Skills Level 2 Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets Basic understanding of statistics and statistical analysis techniques Excellent attention to detail and data accuracy Strong communication skills to effectively present findings and recommendations Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities Organisational and time management skills to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
