All of our products are designed, handmade, and installed out of our factory in Birmingham.About the role:We are looking for a committed, motivated and experienced Logistics Manager to join our team. The role is vital for ensuring the seamless transportation and installation of our furniture products. You will be responsible for managing the vehicle fleet, our installation and fitting teams and coordinating installations. Your expertise will be essential in optimising the logistics processes and collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve efficient operations and excellent customer satisfaction. Your contributions will directly impact our ability to provide high-quality furniture solutions to our clients while maintaining cost-effective and timely logistics operations.Our Logistics Manager will:· Oversee the maintenance, scheduling, and efficient utilisation of the company's vehicle fleet.· Ensure vehicles are compliant with safety and regulatory standards.· Monitor fuel usage, maintenance schedules, and optimise routing for cost-effective transportation.· Lead and manage installation and fitting teams, ensuring they are equipped with the necessary tools and resources to complete the job.· Provide guidance, training, and supervision to enhance team performance and customer satisfaction.· Develop and implement policies and procedures related to installation quality, safety protocols, and customer interactions.· Plan and organise installation schedules, considering customer preferences, availability of resources, and efficient utilisation of teams.· Support the identification and resolution of post-installation snags or issues reported by customers.You will need:· Experience in logistics management, with progressively responsible roles in transportation, distribution, and team leadership.· Strong leadership and communication skills.· Strong organisational and multitasking skills to manage various logistics processes simultaneously.· Familiarity with safety regulations, compliance standards, and operational efficiency techniques in logistics.· Aptitude for identifying challenges, proposing innovative solutions, and effectively resolving issues.· Dedication to providing exceptional service and maintaining high customer satisfaction levels.What we can offer:· Gym Membership· Generous Bonus SchemeIf you think that you could be our next Logistics Manager, please click ‘Apply’ now!Job Types: Full-time, PermanentSalary: £30,000.00-£35,000.00 per yearBenefits:Company pensionGym membershipSupplemental pay types:Bonus schemeAbility to commute/relocate:Brierley Hill: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)Experience:Logistics: 1 year (preferred)Work Location: In personJobs Advertisement
