We continue our focus with international expansion, multi-channel distribution and product innovation driving our rapid expansion.As part of our continued expansion, the opportunity has arisen for a multi-skilled Maintenance Technician with good engineering knowledge to join our team in Aylesbury. The role will be on a rotating shift pattern between, our early shift (6.00am - 2.30pm) and our  late shift (2.30pm - 11.00pm) You will be a strong member of our Engineering team, responsible for the continuous upkeep and improvement of our Innovation Centre 's facilities and machinery through planned and preventative maintenance programmes. This role is vital to the efficiency, development and progress of our Innovation Centre; working with our wider teams, you will improve the facilities, reduce the incidence of costly breakdowns and improve the overall reliability and the safety of the plant.Your role in detail:Provides breakdown and routine maintenance cover on manufacturing equipment, machinery and systems to ensure production continuation and minimised downtime.Diagnoses, fault-finds, monitors and assess ongoing machines and identifies any additional works required and complete work requests.Collaborating with the Production and Blending teams to identify maintenance needs and to plan the scheduling of maintenance activities.Contributes towards the continuous improvement of processes and site services.Reports and communicates all maintenance issues effectively at all levels.Conducts inspections, tests and adjustments on machines to ensure they meet safety and quality standards,  complying with all regulations at all times.Ensures all work undertaken is recorded and the record kept and made available for audit purposes.Adheres to all safety requirements to ensure compliance with regulations and company policies.Requirements:Operational experience gained within an apprenticeship.An electrical background with an electrical related qualification is preferable.Experience of machine shop and site maintenance in a production manufacturing facility.Excellent problem-solving and attention to detail skills.Strong understanding of health and safety regulations for manufacturing environments.Continuous Improvement knowledge.Ability to work as part of a team and independently.Excellent communication skills and ability to work and communicate with people inside and outside the organisation.Flexible to work on a rotating shift pattern and respond to emergencies if required.
