After a basic training period have the ability to work with limited supervision in producing parts in accordance with the Company’s Health And Safety and Quality procedures. Hourly Rate: £14.08 (£12.80 with 10% shift premium) Shift Pattern: Week 1 - 6am-2pm Monday to Friday Week 2 - 2pm - 11:53pm Monday to Thursday Locate materials and tooling Operate limited number of machines Correct usage of guards and safety switches for machinery Understanding of materials for product manufacture Identification and use of correct parts/machine for production Correct use of sprays/solvents/cleaning agents as applicable Correct manual handling of tools and moulds Carry out all operations as outlined in production paperwork After basic training period have the ability to work with limited supervision Flexible, to be transferred to other areas of production Carry out all work activities in accordance with HSE requirements Keep work area(s) in compliance with company housekeeping standards Required Experience Experience in a manufacturing environment is favorable Competencies Quality conscious with strong attention to detail Understanding the need for quality and how it impacts on business Good understanding of foreign object defects, cause and rectification Good coordination skills Ability to understand and complete paperwork Maintain standards as set by Company Awareness of the importance of communication and keeping people updated Maintains a self awareness of events and activities within the Company Behavioral Characteristics H&S mindset Flexible with ability to pick up new ideas Adaptable to change Ability to communicate with appropriate personnel Ability to learn new skills Excellent standard of attendance and punctuality record Job Types: Full-time
