Join the world of PepsiCo Supply Chain, our factory in Coventry is one our biggest snacks manufacturing site in the UK, producing a number of well-known brands including Doritos, SunBites, Squares, French Fries, Wotsits and Monster Munch. It is a multi-technology plant with significant automation and is home to around 650 of our team. Our Coventry site is a fast paced and ever changing environment, we can go from idea to implementation in a matter of days. As a Manufacturing Technician you will be a key member of the production team where your actions will directly impact our overall site performance. In order to maintain the efficiency of our production lines, you will combine your technical competence with strong interpersonal skills and a willingness to lead and initiate change. With an aptitude to coach and mentor others, you will have the ability to adapt to an ever-changing, dynamic manufacturing environment, and be able to quickly identify and remedy machine errors as they occur. Reports to: Shift Operations Manager Direct reports: None Working Hours: Continental shift pattern (4 on, 4 off) working 12 hour shifts. This will rotate between days (06:00-18:00) and nights (18:00-6:00) each block (average of 42 hours per week). Compensation and Benefits: £36,005.78 per annum (inclusive of shift & handover allowance) Competitive Pension Scheme 23 days holiday (with the option to buy/sell holiday) PPE provided by the business Staff discount shop Cycle to work scheme Subsidised Canteen Long Service Rewards Responsibilities Being responsible for a designated area, driving performance to meet, maintain and exceed quality, food safety, cost, service and safety measures. Co-ordinating and motivating the General Operator team to achieve daily production targets. Providing operational control for all elements of running production equipment to include set-up, maintenance and cleaning. Monitoring, controlling and carrying out basic fault diagnosis and repairs on equipment and machinery. Taking responsibility for good manufacturing practice with excellent hygiene and safety standards within the designated area.
