A vacancy has arisen within our Marketing Department based in Biggleswade for a Marketing Trainee. The role contributes to the success of Liebherr-Great Britain Ltd by assisting with the marketing plan and public relations initiatives that focus on increasing sales, supporting company growth and creating heightened brand awareness of Liebherr-Great Britain Ltd across the operating market whilst ensuring outstanding customer service at all times and whilst working within the Company’s key result areas; Business Performance, Customer Focus, People and Teamwork, Leadership. Your Responsibilities Key responsibilities and accountabilities, includes but not limited to:- Customer Success stories - Arrange customer site visits, liaising with photojournalists editing subsequent editorial, selecting relevant photos and video to support editorial, liaising with customer for sign off of written piece and imagery, forwarding to relevant parties for publication in trade press, Liebherr website, brochures, social media and sales support materials. Event and Exhibition planning support - Liaise with divisional general manager to determine requirements of exhibition, book stand space, liaise with exhibition build companies regarding stand design, book staff accommodation, liaise with designer regarding graphics for stand, source and provide images for stand design, book furniture and audio-visual equipment, refreshments and all other aspects of stand. Work with other parties both externally and internally in the planning and execution of company events, product launches. Brochure design - Work with all construction machinery divisions, training division and HR department to ensure relevant and up-to-date brochures and other marketing materials relevant to the UK market. Arrange and collate imagery, write text and liaise with graphic designer and printer to complete production in line with brand guidelines. Social Media - Work alongside social media design team to keep all social media channels up to date and proactively suggest content to increase engagement. Liaise with HR team to ensure vacancies are visible on social media channels. Liaise with agency to promote selected vacancies via social media advertising. Assist with training the relevant teams in the correct and most effective use of social media for sales leads. Advertising - Assist with planning the annual advertising campaigns for the relevant divisions. Liaise with publications and websites to obtain pricing. Liaise with factory marketing teams to establish budgets for both print and online advertising. Proof reading – assist with proof reading of marketing materials and product information from factories. Website updates – liaise with EMT and LRL teams to update local websites as and when required. Internal communications – liaise with all department heads and relevant parties to complete and distribute regular internal communication materials. Budgeting – record spend against budget for UK marketing activities to ensure that activity remains on track and within budget. Corporate Branding – ensure that LGB is compliant with Liebherr Group Branding. Your Profile An interest in marketing and social media. Ability to develop customer relationship skills. Have an eye for detail and an appreciation of quality. Be able to travel UK & Overseas as required to support business requirements.
