Job description
The receipt of samples, sample preparation, request data entry and presentation for analysis as appropriate. Deal with reception and telephone queries from users outside of the department. To support the specific technical and clerical duties in a section of the Department, working with Biomedical Scientists as part of a team, to facilitate the smooth running of the service. Provides training for new/inexperienced staff, teaching through a buddy system initially. Applies departmental quality system to all aspects of the work. Observe and apply the Directorate and Trust Health and Safety and Security policies.
