In addition, we offer ongoing professional development opportunities to help you thrive in your role and further your career.We are looking for compassionate individuals who are passionate about enabling service users to lead fulfilling lives within their local communities.As aSupport Worker, your role will involve:- Supporting service users in accessing and participating in community activities, including educational and employment opportunities.- You will provide assistance in maximising service user income through managing benefit claims and renewals.- Additionally, you will be responsible for arranging and facilitating health-related appointments, attending meetings on behalf of service users, and liaising with external professionals.It is important to develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of mental health sections and any associated conditions of community discharge. In this position, you will also serve as an advocate for service users, ensuring their needs and preferences are at the forefront of their support provision. Building positive relationships with other service users, professionals, family members, and the wider community will be a key aspect of your role.Hours: Monday to Friday, 09:00 - 17:00 or 08:00 - 16:00Location: Outreach service across Bristol - driving licence and access to own car essentialSalary: £20,475 - £21,840 per annum.
