Here at IKEA Greenwich we are looking to welcome Customer Order Pickers to our fantastic and ever-growing Picking & Checking team. Start date: 19 and 20 September 2023. WHAT WE OFFER £11.95 per hour as basic hourly rate.IKEA is proud to be a Living Wage Foundation Employer. CONTRACT & AVAILABILITY Working 16 hours per week, which will include 3 in 4 weekend shifts.You will be expected to work two late nights per week until 10:00pm. You could be scheduled for shifts between the hours of 07:00am and 10:00pm, and availability needs will be discussed at interview. WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO HAVE We are looking for proactive and energetic individuals, who are not afraid to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment. You will be someone who has great communication skills, attention to detail and enables a successful shopping experience for our customers. This can be a fast-paced and physically demanding role that involves safe manual handling, so it is important that you enjoy this work environment! WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING DAY TO DAY As part of the Logistics team, you will work within the warehouse and the store. You will have the customers at heart in all that you do. Your daily duties will be picking, checking click and collect orders, and preparing orders for delivery. You will also be required to meet the customer in the store during picking. You will work with our internal systems to ensure that customers have accurate and full stock availability at all times. We expect you to take responsibility to ensure a safe working environment for yourself, your co-workers, and our customers.
