We are growing as a small architecture practice. We have taken on some exciting commissions . This is an opportunity to join a small team with a big workload. You will be a part 2/3 or qualified architect with a minimum of 2 years office experience. A strong architectural technician with relevant experience would also be suitable.Our main project is a certified Passivhaus Pub and Inn. We are committed to working on low energy buildings. You will be working alongside the director who is a certified Passivhaus designer and architect. You will be drawing construction details, communicating directly with component manufacturers and inputing their details into the scheme.This opportunity will suit someone who wishes to be involved directly with the environmental challenges we are facing in the field of architecture.You will be involved in all RIBA stages, client meetings, contractor meetings, meetings with planners, public consultations etc. You will learn how to construct certified passivhaus and low energy buildings with the opportunity of eventually becoming a certified designer/consultant.This will not be a dry office job. We are looking for people who are committed to the issues of climate change. We are looking for driven, passionate candidates who love design and want to make a difference. We are looking for people to help us grow and build a practice committed to change.This role is a hybrid one, with some days during the week working alongside the director in Highgate and some days at home.We work with Vectorworks, Adobe CS, Sketchup, Rhino, Lumion, DesignPH and PHPP. These particular programs are not mandatory but a plus.
