There is a great opportunity for an exceptional individual to join and support the Breast Team at North Manchester General Hospital as a Patient Navigator for the Mastalgia pathway. The role is to be a patient facing, supportive role and to interface with patients ensuring they understand the patient pathway on arrival and have, where possible, any questions answered. You will be supported by the breast team and be support with learning opportunities across the organisation. The post holder will act as a navigator to work within the breast team to work in collaboration supportive the patient through the mastalgia pathway, signposting and case managing with patients and liaising with colleagues. This will ensure access to investigation, communication and the right support for patients. The post holder will work alongside members of the multi-disciplinary team to enhance communication and connection leading to leading to more effective care. The post holder will also be able to manage their own diary, work autonomously as required and be part of the multidiscplinary team.
