Our People Coaches play a big part in making this happen. As a People Coach, you’ll be directly supporting Co-op’s vision of co-operating for a fairer world. As a People team we play a fundamental role in delivering the people elements of the business strategy. You’ll be responsible for delivering the capability, organisational development and ways of working needed within teams across Co-op that’ll allow colleagues to pursue their passions, work at their best and support our wider strategic goals. What you’ll doWork collaboratively with leaders and colleagues across the business to create sustainable changes in ways of workingWork flexibly, utilising your skills, capability and experience to deliver priority outcomes for circa 40,000 colleagues across our food estate.Co-design, integrate and deliver people and organisational development plans, making sure they land successfully within teams, and those colleagues have the tools they need to help deliver great resultsUse a range of people data and insight to identify and improve team and functional capabilityMake sure that Co-op’s vision, values, and commitment to inclusion are integrated into the day-to-day mindset of teamsEncourage teams to use the full range of available support tools and services across the people operating modelCo-ordinate work across the wider people team including CBS and the Centres of Expertise, making sure that any changes made within teams are in line with the broader Co-op strategy This role would suit people who haveExperience of working with leaders to deliver people-based change in a sustainable wayExperience of partnering up to and including senior leadersGreat problem-solving skills and an interest in creating new ways of workingThe ability to coach and mentor teams, and an understanding of how to develop peopleGeneralist people partnering experienceThe ability to challenge the norm and provoke thinking amongst colleagues and partnersStrong analytical skills, with experience of using data and insight to drive action Why Co-op?
