Wavemaker Worldwide Activation: Wavemaker Worldwide Activation is the digital specialist arm of the worldwide hub. It powers the digital thinking for Wavemakers largest global clients and acts as a central planning and buying team for clients who buy multimarket digital campaigns from one location. Our digital thinking brings together media, data and technology to drive business results for our clients and is directly connected to our most senior global management team offering increased opportunity for senior level exposure. Client Context: SkyShowtime is a new streaming service venture from Comcast and ViacomCBS. It combines the content from a number of providers owned by the partners, including Universal, DreamWorks, Paramount+, Showtime, Sky, and Peacock. It launched in September 2022 in four countries - Denmark, Finland, Norway and Sweden - and then rolled out to another 18 over the following months. SkyShowtime features "more than 10,000 hours of content". This includes scripted dramas, kids and family, key franchises, premiere movies, local programming, and documentaries. Role Context: We are seeking a skilled and motivated Programmatic Specialist to elevate their career as an Account Manager. This dynamic individual will collaborate closely an executive, the Programmatic Director and Programmatic lead in the account, taking charge of day-to-day responsibilities for planning and strategizing programmatic initiatives across 22 markets. Working alongside the London-based programmatic activation team, they will maintain a strong partnership with our counterparts in Poland, who oversee campaign activation across all major programmatic platforms. The ideal candidate will excel at fostering robust relationships with clients, suppliers, and our Polish counterparts while demonstrating expertise across self-service programmatic channels such as DV360 as well as plan and coordinate and an array of managed service vendors. They must possess a profound understanding of best practices and approaches to deliver high-performing strategies, encompassing both direct-to-site interactions and app downloads (MAI – app installs). Key Responsibilities: Account Managers are charged with responsibility for the day-to-day programmatic output of their client account, with several key areas of focus. These include: Campaign Management Developing and implementing comprehensive programmatic strategies for clients, aligned with their business objectives and target audience. Work on the production of comprehensive programmatic media plans (+ supporting material) that align with client’s objectives and KPIs. Able to clearly articulate the rationale for proposed campaign tactics (channels, budget, audience, formats etc.) and present these back, both to internal and external stakeholders (with the oversight of the account director) Managing both the programmatic brand and performance campaign planning and strategy (web subscriptions and Monthly app installs), with the ability to speak to a set of highly knowledgeable programmatic clients. Comfortable troubleshooting and helping train junior team members to use advanced features when needed. Responsible for maintaining the standard of regular quality assurance (QA) checks on all projects handled by the UK activation team to ensure no errors and meaningful output to the client. Developing and implementing comprehensive programmatic media strategies for clients, aligned with their business objectives and target audience. Working with the rest of the team to ensure the standard and accuracy of weekly/monthly campaign performance reports. Co-leading client calls on a regular basis and supporting the wider team to present results as necessary. Ensuring all performance commentary delivers valuable insight a recommend actions on-platform to capitalise/mitigate these trends as necessary and recommendations to clients. Working with the team to identify trends. Analysing campaign data and metrics to identify trends, insights, and areas for improvement. Making data-driven decisions to optimize campaign performance. Serving as one of the key points of contact for clients on the programmatic side, understanding their needs, and providing regular updates on campaign performance and progress Client & Partner Management Able to identify opportunities to test and innovate in the programmatic space, presenting these opportunities to stakeholders and securing client backing. Building and maintaining relationships with the key media partners including Xaxis, Amazon, Yahoo, JustWatch etc… Operational Excellence Identify opportunities to test and innovate in the programmatic space. Presenting these opportunities to stakeholders and securing client backing. Developing these into initiatives that can be used to further evolve the standard & efficiency of programmatic buying across the wider team. Developing tailored testing/learning agendas for clients that drive clear and actionable insights. Working closely with the activation team + other channel specialists to ensure programmatic activity compliments and enhances the wider marketing mix. Platform Expertise: Keeping abreast of platform updates, new features, and changes in algorithms to leverage the full potential of programmatic platforms. ABOUT YOU: 2-3 years’ experience in performance media with a good level of expertise across programmatic partners Strong understanding of how programmatic works within the performance and digital ecosystem. Working knowledge of best practices within programmatic. Understand of mobile app download campaigns within programmatic platforms is a plus Experience in programmatic performance campaigns. Experience setting brand and performance KPIs for clients. Proven people management and leadership qualities. Possesses initiative and demonstrates resourcefulness. All academic backgrounds will be considered – qualifications in maths, data, media of interest. Professional digital media/advertising qualifications will be of an advantage. Excellent organisational and communication skills. Hands-on experience in planning, buying and optimising across all channels is useful.
