: An opportunity for a Quality Consultant with PM Group working for us on site in Hertfordshire. Job Title: Quality Consultant Location: Hertfordshire Contract: Approx 6 months - Consultant : Scope of the position: For each contract package, review copies of Quality Assurance Procedures (QAP), project design specifications, drawings and scope description.Review Contractor’s submitted Quality Plans and ITPs, and provide feedback as necessary to ensure that the contractor is addressing all quality requirements specified.Agree format and content of Contractors’ Handover Documentation at the outset. Ensure any specific customer requirements are included.Agree arrangements with the Construction Manager and Field Superintendent for monitoring contractors’ quality in the field, and at any off-site facilities where work is to be executed (e.g. pre-cast concrete yard, piping pre-fabrication shops, ductwork fabrication shops, etc.).Monitor contractors’ compliance with their Quality plan and ITPReview results of quality inspections with field supervisors and any third-party bodies weekly and raise any concerns with the contractors.Carry out regular audits of contractors’ quality systems and procedures to verify compliance with the QA Plan and ITP.Additional duties to be outlined in the scope of works : Ideally a Bachelor Degree or equivalent in an Engineering discipline Proven experience in Quality within the Chemical industry or similar Collaborator with other teams Worked on multiple projects Inclusion and Diversity are core to our culture and values.
