Quality Inspector required for new roles with a reputable manufacturing company who continue to grow and improve their processes and capabilities. Competitive pay and good overtime availability for skilled quality inspectors with good working knowledge of manufacturing standards and inspection equipment.Shift – Monday – FridayMain duties and responsibilities:To carry out 1st off Inspection (CMM / Manual) / Receipt Inspection / Inspection and Calibration activities as required to support operations.Maintaining the integrity of CMM programs ensuring programs are maintained and stored correctly.To support the internal non-conformance process; raising rejects and ensuring all containment is captured.To liaise closely with Engineering to ensure the smooth transition of new products – New Product Introduction (NPI).Completion of FAIR packs by means of CMM / Manual Inspection.Complete all work booking requirements within the MRP system to ensure accurate WIP records.Machine and Tooling Set Up Packs as required, Engineering Drawings, Data Cards, Inspection Plans etc.Carry out in process inspection in accordance with relevant inspection plans to ensure that components are conforming prior to passing on to subsequent operations.ExperienceProven manufacturing experienceCarrying out "first off" inspections using manual equipmentInspection experience using some or all of the following equipment – Micrometers, Callipers, Optical Projector, ShadowgraphCMM experience advantageous but not essentialThe ReturnCompetitive rates - starting rate £11.00 to £14.00 per hourExcellent Holiday entitlementExcellent working hoursInternal & external training and development opportunitiesIf you are a skilled quality inspector seeking a contract roe with a company that will develop your skills, APPLY TODAY!Job Type: Full-timeSalary: £11.00-£14.00 per hourSchedule:8 hour shiftSupplemental pay types:Bonus schemeAbility to commute/relocate:Telford: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)Work Location: In person
