Further information about the Department can be found at https://www.ucl.ac.uk/ioe/departments-and-centres/departments/psychology-and-human-development About the role The Research Technician in Psychology & Human Development will be in charge of a variety research, teaching and other duties including research techniques, lab equipment as well as resources setup. There is a range of items that fall under these categories such as training students and staff on the use of equipment, arranging resources for loaning, managing software as well as providing customer focused service to students and staff in the Department of Psychology & Human Development. The post holder will not only work closely with the Senior Research Technician of the Dept. of Psychology and Human Development. In addition, with staff to ensure the smooth run of the different accredited programmes. The postholder will also have the opportunity to utilize the breadth and depth of expertise and technologies available across the collaborating groups at IoE to further develop projects, skills and knowledge. About you You will have GCSE's and A-Level or BSc Degree in Psychology or equivalent experience in Psychology. You will also have knowledge or experience with one of the following statistical packages: R, JASP and/or STATA and experience with at least one of the following psychological research design packages: Qualtrics, Gorilla, PsychoPy Your application form should address all the person specification points and should clearly demonstrate how your skills and experience meet each of the criteria.
