Job description
Sales Executive – (New Maintenance Business) As an Elevator/Escalator New Maintenance Sales Executive, you will be responsible for proactively identifying and developing new customer opportunities/relationships. You will work with the customer to identify their service requirements, aligned with KONE maintenance and digital solutions. The role will be both office and field based with an expectation of face-to-face meetings with potential clients. You need to be collaborative in your approach and able to influence both internal and external stakeholders at all levels, as well as building sustainable partnerships. New opportunities should be maximised from previously lost units, along with prospecting in the field and searching tender portals for open tender contracts. This role is suited to someone who can work using their own initiative, self-motivated with a desire to succeed against monthly targets. Previous experience in writing responses to tenders is preferable, which includes understanding Quality/Environmental questions and a good standard of English, both written and verbal. This role will be reporting to the Regional Sales Manager Key responsibilities: Customer relationship management Proactively develops and creates customer relationships in their areas of responsibility Accountable for developing KONE position in your customer base or market area Creates and communicates leads and sales opportunities for entire KONE sales team (e.g., cross-selling) Ensures customer satisfaction and solving complaints with the rest of KONE team Documents the customer and contact information, maintains customer data Sell Proactively generates opportunities outside of the KONE customer base Handles RFQs and manages all portals for leads Accountable for leads, opportunities, orders, and contracts to meet the sales budget and pricing targets Maintains full information of opportunities, tasks, and visits Timely and accurate reporting Is accountable for leads, opportunities, orders, and contracts to meet the sales budget and pricing targets Is accountable for finding customer needs and that KONE’s solution matches with the needs Is responsible for pricing using the approved tendering tools, and for optimizing prices and discounts within your authority Validates that the contents of the contract are in line with the negotiation process outcome Maintains full information of opportunities, tasks, and visits (sales funnel management) Responsible for timely and accurate reporting in CRM Responsible for gathering relevant information about market and competitors from the field Drives execution of individual sales plan Skills and experience required: Industry or a service background is desirable Mastering customer contacts, presentations, and negotiations, closing deals, tendering process, aftersales activities, basic knowledge of contractual and financial terms. Previous experience and results in Sales and customer relationship management. Proven experience in writing and managing large tenders Good IT skills, CRM Salesforce Excellent communication skills in English (written and spoken). Good knowledge of contractual and financial terms. Performance measures Growth of Maintenance portfolio in SEB (LIS, DIS, EIS units and value won from competition) Customer visits, customer facing time Customer feedback, customer satisfaction and loyalty (net promoter index) Accuracy of CRM reports Development of customer portfolio The geographical area for the role will be South Yorkshire, East Midlands, Lincolnshire and Staffordshire.
