HealthyMinds – Employee Assistance Programme Key responsibilities: Contribute to and assist in the implementation of improvement plans agreed with the senior maintenance manager and other members of the senior leadership team. Ensure business development project work as identified by the senior maintenance manager is undertaken in an effective manner, completed within budget and on time. To assist the maintenance department in achieving its budget targets through the efficient use of materials and replacement parts. Take ownership of the PPM system and ensure effective use of resource to deliver 100% adherence to schedule against the PPM schedule. Effective time management and prioritisation of activities. Undertake direct line management of the maintenance shift team with full adherence to performance management processes. Ordering replacement parts and services whilst following the correct accounting/authorisation process. Maintaining and improving standards of housekeeping in all areas of the warehouse. To undertake emergency breakdown repairs in a timely and efficient way on all processing equipment. Ensuring the team has received all the necessary training and development to work effectively on all equipment and undertake tasks in a safe manner. To assess the team’s development needs and action accordingly. Assisting in the specification and installation of new equipment for the site. Developing and improving the knowledge and skills of apprentice engineers. Ensuring visiting contractors are supervised and safe operating procedures are in place. Maintaining Health & Safety rules and regulations, and ensuring all Safe Systems of Work are signed off and complied with. Identifying potential hazards/risks and proactively making sure actions are completed in a timely and cost effective manner. Lead zero loss approach to assist engineering and operations in understanding underlying under-performance issues and coordinating resources to resolve. Contribute to and assist in the implementation of the RCA process, working cross-functionally to establish a database and robust 100 year fixes. You’ll bring to this role: Electrical/Mechanical qualification ONC, HNC or HND Automation experience PC and PLC competency Significant troubleshooting and fault-finding diagnostics and resolution experience Confident and effective communication skills Passion for working in a team with a positive attitude and professional approach Extensive knowledge of UK health and safety legislation Competent in risk assessment, permit writing and LOTOTO Applications:To apply for the position, please submit your CV detailing your full and complete 5 year history including employment, education and any gaps of unemployment longer than 28 days.
